She has also appeared as Agnes Nielsen in Dark on Netflix. Her stage career began when she portrayed Jeanne d'Arc in a school play. It was during this time that she portrayed Jeanne d'Arc as a character in an elementary school play. Traue was part of the production of Hip Hopera and toured for four seasons, appearing throughout Germany Europe as well as New York City. Traue was later featured in film as well as TV films such as Kleinruppin Forever Berlin Am Meer, Phantomschmerz and Kleinruppin Forever Berlin. Traue was cast as the female lead in Pandorum (2008) which is the sci-fi/thriller film directed by Christian Alvart with Travis Milloy. The film also features Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster. Her family was from Jamaica and was born in New York. Her parents came from Jamaica and eventually settled on New York. She was a student at Stony Brook University where she obtained a BSc with a major in Chemistry.
