Warner Records released Build a Bitch, her debut top-ten single, in May. By May 2021 her TikTok followers numbered over 6 million. This placed her as the third most followed person on the platform. Charli D'Amelio was second and Addison Rae was third. Poarch was raised in the Philippines. She told interviewers for The H3 Podcast they were raised by their maternal grandmother in the slums up to the time she turned 3. She was then adopted by Kenneth Taylor an American expat and his wife Eden. Poarch explained that for the next 10 years she was mainly spending her time on the family farm and doing chores. There are two adopted sisters as well as an older brother Bryner. In Texas the family relocated to Texas when she reached the age of thirteen. But, her two elder sister remained in Phillipines. Poarch served for a few years as an officer within the United States Navy, and worked in the navy. Bella claimed that her parents and brothers had been abusive to her, and Bella did not have many friends at school, and Bella's father abused her. Poarch started her career April 2020. The month of April was when she started posting her videos to TikTok. Poarch rose to notoriety for her many lip syncs. Most notable was her video that she performs a lip sync to Soph Aspin Sen performed by Millie B which is currently the most liked video. As a result of her TikTok popularity, Poarch created an account on YouTube, and subsequently relaunched a Twitter account. The Poarch alpaca toy Paca is another famous Poarch product. In 2020 Poarch launched the limited-edition line of clothing RIPNDIP x Paca.
